I can't burn 130MB of wma music files onto a CD-R which says 700MB/80Min, because the total length of time of the songs is 90Min. Is there a way around this? Sure. Burn as a data CD not a music CD. That way the files are not transformed into .wav's prior to burning. Cheers, Jerry.

Windows Media 9 Series won't burn CD. Will convert and then spit out CD after burning maybe one song. Error # C00D117E comes up with no explanation. Something comes up about speed having to be adjusted and then it usually burns the next CD successfully. I don't want to waste one CD for every one I burn though.

If you're burning with this drive at 10x, you need to be using a CD-RW. The W1210A can't burn CD-Rs at 10x, though it can do so at 12x. Also, the CD-RW must be a high-speed CD-RW. Normal CD-RWs are rated for 4x. I note it thinks I am asking for TAO rather than DAO - I thought TAO was for audio recording. Nope.
